One of the milestones in Mick's illustrious career as a music video director, was to create and direct the very first Music Video Show on television! A 1 hour daily afternoon program called Wavelength, which became the proto-type for media giant MTV. After MTV was launched, Mick went on to produce and direct several Music Specials. During this time, he also created and produced several Game Shows for NBC and CBS.

    Then in the 80's, during the third union strike in as many years, Mick, with spare time on his hands, decided to landscape his flower garden. He visited a local Bedding Plant Nursery, took one look around, took one deep breath, and another, and bid the television industry farewell!

    Since then he has never worked another day at anything except growing flowers. Currently the largest bedding plant grower in Los Angeles County, his nursery is acclaimed for having the best quality in the business.

    And what happened to Mick Kennedy the television producer/director? Rumors abound that he had some sort of a breakdown, unplugged, and that he's now growing flowers organically, of all things... Nobody expects him to be back any time soon...
